Heat-Resistant Ceramic Glass 4 mm
This 4 mm heat-resistant ceramic glass is specially designed for fireplaces, stove doors and other heating appliances operating at very high temperatures. Unlike ordinary tempered glass, ceramic fireplace glass can withstand continuous heat exposure up to 800 °C without breaking or deforming.
The glass is manufactured from ROBAX® ceramic glass, a premium material widely used by stove and fireplace manufacturers across Europe.
ROBAX glass is known for its excellent heat resistance, stability and long service life, making it one of the most trusted materials for replacement fireplace glass and stove door glass.
The 4 mm thickness is suitable for most standard fireplaces and stoves. A thicker 5 mm version is recommended mainly for larger glass panels or installations where additional mechanical strength is required.

If you are looking for other types of heat-resistant glass, we also offer several specialised solutions made from original ROBAX® ceramic glass.
For larger fireplace doors or bigger glass panels, you may consider 5 mm heat-resistant glass, which provides higher mechanical strength and is often used for larger fireplace or stove glass panels.
If you want easier maintenance and cleaner glass during operation, we also offer self-cleaning heat-resistant fireplace glass, designed to reduce soot buildup and keep the view of the flames clearer.
For a more modern appearance, you can choose NightFlame tinted heat-resistant glass, which has a darker look when the fireplace is off but becomes transparent once the fire is burning.
All our fireplace glasses are cut to size according to your exact dimensions and manufactured from premium ROBAX ceramic glass designed for high-temperature applications.
Important Installation Recommendations
When installing heat-resistant glass, it is important to use flat self-adhesive sealing tape 10×2 mm or 10×4 mm. The glass must never come into direct contact with the metal frame or stove body.
Place the sealing tape not only on the frame or glass but also on any clips, brackets or mounting parts to ensure the glass is fully isolated from metal components.
Tighten screws and fixing clips carefully and never overtighten them. Excessive pressure on the glass may cause it to crack.
Incorrect installation is one of the most common causes of glass breakage.
When handling glass panels, always work carefully and consider wearing protective gloves.
